Arrived in Jutland, the most western part of Denmark and the attached to Germany part. Everything here is spelled out in Danish as well as German. You can bet that everyone here speaks Danish as well as German because this part of Denmark is German overrun in the summer since Germans don't have as many beaches available to them. Also, the Germans left some ugly WWII Bunkers scattered on the beaches here. As mentioned before, they are ugly but they are also entreating and so this was on our to do list. Our 45 minute drive to the concrete fortresses ended up taking us 2.5 hours because of things we found on the way there.
Next stop on the way to the bunkers: lighthouse
And so, finally the bunkers. For an adrenaline Nazi (hahaha) such as I, these bunkers were amazing.
Entreating... check
Creepy factor... check.
And here we go.
Today we are headed to LEGOLAND. It was a hard decision for me to make knowing how much it costs. But I was compromised by receiving two free tickets to LEGOLAND from my brother. We'll see what Talon thinks about that since he refuses to touch a Lego. In his mind touching a Lego is the same as getting infected by a zombie. Never has he been "infected" as of yet.
