day 14

Enjoying waking up in our own beds that we have had for the last 12 days was comforting. I did have to get up early (not that I sleep well after 3:30 a.m. anyway since it's light after that) and head to my brother's house. It's nice to have family members in the area who offer to help you out with doing things I dread and procrastinate doing (like getting an appointment set up for my kids to get their Danish passports done). Haha. No pictures for that boring stuff.

The weather, once again, was crazy. Just moody I would call it. I decided we would stay home for a bit today since I was working on my blog and figuring out our travel plans for this weekend since we may be homeless. The kids didn't once complain because they just got their charger to their Nintendo DSs fixed. So they were content exploring their new games I bought them right before leaving to Europe.

I did get a little tired of being home all day so we went to check out a nature playground, they call them. Though the weather was questionable (windy, cold, and a little rainy) we were pleasantly surprised to have found this. Even Tristan's comments of "this is stupid" dissipated after he actually looked at the place. This park is open 24/7 and has a little Viking house to play in with a roof, doors and a "sleeping" setup. Also available free precut firewood and a huge fireplace. I don't think they will mind if we use their grounds for our sleeping needs for two nights come Thursday and Friday. It's not like they have a homeless problem in Denmark. I think we just upped their percentage by 0.06% for the two days. This will be fun!
