Day 11

Day 11
Today was rather relaxing. It was supposed to rain all day again but the wind blew the rain clouds out into every other direction leaving us for the most part dry and somewhat warm. Our sun deprived skin on our arms actually got to feel the start of a Danish summer today. We went back to Hillerød because we were told they would have a flea market today during their town festival. I was told wrong and so for me walking the little cute streets window shopping was amusing but for the kids it was boring. What can I say. Unless an item isn't 70% off or more, it's not interesting to look at. Especially since the kids have to use their own earned money, they get a little taste of saving. The boys were amused more by "dancing" on a tree that was set in the water and feeding the ducks and swans. That's all free so I just let them do their thing while sitting down to rest my barking feet.

I got two swans to come over. I must look very tasty or maybe they have never seen an American mix such as I.

This old dude brought all his toys over with motors in them. Actually sounds fun.

After this little outing we headed back to our tiny village to enjoy a plate of fish, freshly caught. My aunt who came to give us a little visit earlier today told us that they have awesome fish there and for a very reasonable price. I thought I would spoil them for once with something else besides the cheap hotdogs we usually get. Don't get me wrong, the hotdogs taste awesome!
