day 10

Day 9 was rainy. Pretty much all day. So we headed to a mall I remembered to be awesome and big. Well, that was before I got introduced to supersized America. After I have seen Utah malls (and not much since I don't like to shop), this one was tiny and unimpressive. The center of the mall that back in the day seemed so big and filled with fun activities like a miniature golf course and a ferries wheel has been replaced by boring high end coffee and food trucks... We ended up spending about 0 Kroner there (besides Riven, he always finds something he wants no matter where we are) and quickly headed back home. No pictures either because who wants to see stores... ;)

Now day 10 was a little more interesting. I read online that it is well worth paying the entrance fee to the Frederiksborg Castle in Hillerød. So we, or rather I decided to become a tourists today. Consequently we headed back there to get some semi professional pictures in. But NOOOOO! I had left my sim card in the laptop and so my camera was worthless! Dummy. At least I have an iPhone so excuse me for the quality in the pictures. I'm still tempted to go back and pay to take real pictures... with a real camera. Then again, I'm not that good behind my camera. So never mind.
Not Hamlet's castle so "where to start and where to stop is the question" is not a legit question here. Haha.

After spending a relatively short amount of time there with kids that are loud, tripping each other, and sliding across the floors, making me regret taking them with me, we headed to a cheap phone store downtown to get Tristan so new set of earphones. We found out that Hillerød is having its town festival starting tomorrow so we will be going back there. Expect more pictures of that town I guess.

  1. So next time I'm complaining about not having enough wall space to hang art just remember at this castle they were hanging so much art they had to install it in the ceiling!
