Day 30

We decided to visit Germany today because we were told everything is cheaper there. So we drove the whole 20 minutes it took us from the town in Switzerland we stay in to the end of Switzerland and walked across the border. One foot in Switzerland, one in Germany.

Konstanz ended up not being much cheaper than Switzerland and so we just walked the streets a little disappointed. As I appreciated the cute nooks and buildings in town the kids, now  numbed from all the cuteness around us were constantly asking me when we could go back. I had to bribe them with a big enough ice cream for them make it worth staying for another hour.

Turns out you have to go a little further from the border to find great deals.

Oh. And in case you can't tell... it is Talon's birthday today.
